Horrific Scene Greets Police

*Fictional Story*

Police and other emergency services were greeted by a scene that could have come straight from a horror movie. After responding to a neighbourhood noise complaint, at a home known to be frequented by drug users, officers thought they were responding to a domestic violence situation. When they arrived on scene, they soon found the body of a large dog, motionless in the front garden of the front of the home.
Upon entering the home, they were confronted with a deceased young man in the entrance hallway, as well as a further two animails that had also suffered a violent death. The young man appeared to have been attacked by at least one of the dogs, an autopsy revealing his cause of death inconclusive, resulting from a high illicit drug levels, massive trauma to his face and head, as well as blood loss. Vetinary evaluation of the dogs revealed that all three large animals were engaged in a violent attack, and at what is assumed after their death, they have had all of their blood removed.
Investigations continue, but given the evidence at the scene, it is known that those involved must have received substantial injuries during the attack. Members of the public are urged to come forward with further information to bring those responsible for such a diabolical act to justice.
